Play Therapy- A Natural Path to Healing for Children
The modality I use with children is Play Therapy, an evidence-based approach that allows children to process emotions and experiences in a safe and supportive environment. Since children naturally use play as a way to explore their world, this form of therapy creates a comfortable space for them to express their feelings, especially when the sources of their distress may be difficult to articulate.
In Play Therapy, I work at the child’s own pace, guiding them to uncover inner conflicts and identifying the root causes of their emotional struggles. Through play, we can explore unresolved issues, helping the child make sense of their feelings and move toward healing.
As Albert Einstein once said, “Play is the highest form of research.” This reflects the power of play as a tool for self-discovery and growth.

My Coloring Book
I recently authored a colouring book for ages 3-5 to explore the ability of children to find helpers in all situations. Zippy is a snail who goes around his town and sees children helping and being helped and realizes "Helpers are always around, you just need to look and they can be found!" This colouring book is in English and Spanish and can be downloaded through this link
